The Perth Scorpions
For a Positive and Inclusive Volleyball Culture
The Perth Scorpions Volleyball Club promotes a supportive environment where anyone can come to play volleyball, have fun, compete, and meet new people. We are committed to offering opportunities and pathways to people of all genders, sexualities, backgrounds, and skill levels - in a sensitive and safe environment.
Our coaches are there to support everyone, and their skill means you can choose at what level you want to compete. We offer social and competitive opportunities for players of all levels. Drop-in for training and friendly games if you’ve got a free Saturday, or join a team. As a Volleyball WA affilliated club, we play in both local and state competitions, meaning there are competitive outlets for all skill levels - beginner to advanced.
Come down to our weekend training sessions, meet our colourful community, and see how you can get involved! If it's your first time, there’s no need to register and it’s completely free
PATHWAYS
Our social pathways are designed to build community in a safe and supportive environment. Everyone is welcome and can come to learn skills, drop-in for social games, or start and develop on a competitive route. These are designed to be low or no commitment, so you can choose your level of involvement.
For developed players, we offer pathways to compete in the state's highest level of competition - VWA's Volleyball League (WAVL). Our players can choose from a development pathway and gain certification as a coach or referee. We promote a sense of community between pathways, with oppourtunities for developing coaches to take our community training sessions.
