Perth Scorpions present Picnic for Pinnacle!

Please join the Perth Scorpions - Perth's first LGBTQIA+ volleyball club - in raising funds for Pinnacle Foundation.

The event will be held at Langley Park between 11am and 5pm.

Two volleyball nets will be set up and some other sports games to play on the day.

We ask that a gold coin donation is made upon arrival and bring a small plate of food to share.

BACKGROUND
The Pinnacle Foundation is a national charity that awards educational scholarships and carefully matched mentors to young LGBTIQ+ Australians to realise their full potential and overcome challenges arising from their identity. Their vision is for a more diverse and inclusive society with visible LGBTIQ+ role models.

One of our youngest members, Eliza ParnelI, was fortunate enough to be one of 48 people to receive a scholarship from The Pinnacle Foundation this year, which will continue on until she graduates from University at the end of 2024. The Founders, Mentors, Scholars, and everyone who works behind the scenes at The Pinnacle Foundation are lovely, kind, and dedicated to making a positive impact for the LGBTIQA+ community and youth.
