These two trial sessions are for athletes who would like to compete in the 2025 WAVL season.

Perth Scorpions Volleyball Club will be looking to enter teams in to the WAVL season from Division 2 and below, for both the Mens and Womens Leagues.

Both Trials are open to all genders.

Trial One: Skills Demonstration & Game Play

These trial sessions are for members who are looking to participate in the WAVL Men's league. We understand that our community is gender diverse, and that this binary separation may be frustrating and confusing to members. We are working with VWA and VA to identify ways that gender diverse people can play in WAVL and other national competitions. Please reach out to James or the committee if you have any questions or concerns. Gender diverse individuals are invited to continue to participate in WAVL while this process is undertaken.

Please ensure that you attend all trial sessions. Not attending one of these sessions will mean graders will not get to see you as much. Please  attend all sessions if possible. If you are unable to attend a session, please email James Benjamin (james.benjamin@psvc.au).

You will need to be ready to play at all of these sessions, so please ensure you have all of your equipment, incluing shoes, knee pads and appropriate attire.

PAYMENT FOR TRIALS MUST BE MADE BEFORE ATTENDING. PAYMENTS ON THE DAY ARE ALSO ACCEPTED VIA SQUARE. IF YOU DO NOT PAY BEFORE HAND, YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO TRIALS. UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT TAKE CASH.

Your payment for trials will also act as a deposit for your WAVL fees, should you be succcessful in being placed in a Perth Scorpions team. Trial payments are non-refundable.
