Good evening and hello!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Thank you to each and everyone of you who came down and supported our ‘Have a Go / Bring a Friend’ day on Sunday. 

Whether you are new to volleyball, wanting to get back into it or wish to improve your health and fitness, we cater for all levels and will not only support you develop your volleyball skill, but also burn calories and keep fit in a fun way.

As promised, here is some additional information on the Perth Scorpions and details on how you can join the Scorpions family. 

Training

We train at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Sports Recreation Centre each Sunday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. 

Training consists of approximately 1 hour of warm-up / skills development and 45 minutes of social games.

Summer Season fees are $175 for the full season (~25 weeks) or $10.00 per session (Commences, Sunday, 4 September 2022).

Competition Games

We have teams across two Volleyball Competitions at Loftus Recreation Centre (Leederville) each Tuesday and Thursday night with games commencing between 6:15pm and 9:35pm. 

The Summer Season at Loftus commences Monday, 5 September 2022 and runs till early March 2022

Fees for our Summer Season are approximately $405.00 including 25 weeks of Training and Competitive Games (Subject to change once Summer team fees are released).

Insurance

Perth Scorpions Volleyball Club has Platinum affiliation with Volleyball WA (VWA) and is covered by Volleyball WA’s Public Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Personal Accident insurance. 

It is compulsory for all Perth Scorpions Volleyball Club members to register with VWA for personal accident/injury insurance. 

Training (Full Season) and Completion Game members will be invoiced an additional $34.00 for ‘Gold’ Level membership and membership submitted to Volleyball WA on their behalf (If not completed as part of the 2022 Winter Season).

Pay as You Go members will be provided details to register with Volleyball WA.
