Training and COVID-19 Guidelines

Published Sat 05 Mar 2022

We're keeping you up to date with the latest information and guidance relating to COVID-19 and Perth Scorpions training, including the steps we're taking to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of our members.

What do you need to know?

  • Checkin Process: All members must  checkin to training using our dedicated QR Code at the checkin table. See below for more details on the checkin process.
  • Masks: Masks are required to be worn indoors unless participating in physical activity. We ask that you keep your mask on until commencing warm-up activity (unless you wish to keep it on during training) and replacing it  once training finishes. Disposable masks will be available at the Checkin table.
  • Vaccination: A reminder that all members must be up-to-date with their COVID-19  vaccination to attend training. Our new club management platform is being updated to capture 'Proof of Vaccination' and will advise when it's ready to be rolled out.
  • Notification of positive case: Please send an urgent email to enquiries@perthscorpionsvolleyball.com.au if you test positive to COVID-19 and have attended training. Perth Scorpions are now responsible for notifying club members of close contacts. Your details will be kept confidential and not disclosed.
  • Spectators: We ask that only members participating in training activity attend training.
  • Hygiene: Practise good personal hygiene and use the handsanitiser provided. Stay home if you are unwell and if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 get tested.
  • Physical Distancing: Practise physical distancing where possible (keep at least 1.5 metres or two arms lengths from each other).
